Designed for organisations supporting people and communities in disaster impacted regions.

For community and sector organisations, service providers, councils, neighbourhood centres, emergency support services, and frontline teams involved in disaster recovery and community wellbeing.

THIS IS A 2 COURSE PATHWAY
Attend one day or complete the two day pathway. Course 1 is foundational and strongly recommended before Course 2.
Participants may register for either course, or both.

  • Understand trauma impacts after disaster and how this presents in communities
  • Use trauma informed language and practical engagement strategies
  • Respond appropriately to distress and disclosures while maintaining safety and boundaries
  • Navigate and strengthen referral pathways, including warm referrals
    Improve collaboration across agencies and reduce service gaps
  • Build consistent, confident responses across teams and partner networks
