Since its beginning in 1916, RSL Queensland has supported Queensland’s Defence family. Over the past 108 years, we have proudly upheld our Objects, helping veterans and their families.
Our mission is to provide care, commemoration and camaraderie to enable veterans and their families to live with dignity and respect – it is our guiding light and underpins all that we do. Our 2030 Strategy on a Page outlines our intent to provide increased support to more veterans and their families, promote wider recognition of our service people’s legacy, and offer a sense of belonging and purpose to all in the veteran community.
We are the largest ex-service organisation in Queensland, providing practical support, assistance, advice and camaraderie to current and former Australian Defence Force members and their families across the state.

Recovery, Rediscovered
Atlantis Recovery Centre is a multi-disciplinary centre that partners innovation with world-leading technology and specialist clinicians to deliver integrated, layered recovery programs. Our integrated approach ensures a compassionate focus on the recovery journey of the human at the core of our work.
Integrating with DVA, NDIS and allied health providers, ARC has created a purpose-built facility that offers in-house physiotherapy, exercise physiology, and psychology clinical services, alongside breakthrough technology. ARC provides use of leading virtual reality therapy through AtlantisVR, Aqua tread hydrotherapy, Reax wall and treadmill, and infra red sauna to provide the full-spectrum of care and recovery.
Our unique approach allows us to provide high quality support to those in remote locations through AtlantisVR telehealth, combined with state-of-the-art therapy programs incorporating more than 140 distinct solutions. This blended approach to recovery reduces the need for in-centre treatment, while providing immediate access to triage care.
Our clients can utilise their private health funds and GP referred EPC plans while receiving the highest level of treatment.

AtlantisVR offers a safe and controlled environment for exposure therapy in treating phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and anxiety disorders. It enables patients to confront their fears in a controlled setting, promoting desensitisation and gradual reintegration into daily life. Moreover, it has proven effective in treating conditions like depression and social anxiety, increasing accessibility to mental health care.
AtlantisVR has conducted a number of studies ranging from effects on post-stroke patients, aged-care residents and Veteran populations with pathologies that include lower back pain and depression.
