“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”

– Matthew 25:35

Warriors4Life – Love in Action Project

The Love In Action project is quite simply providing an opportunity for our members to heal through helping others. It provides a practical opportunity for our members and their families to continue to serve in the community and have a positive impact on a community of people in need.

Community is a key factor in healing, put simply we are not meant to do life alone. As a charity we work to create a community of inclusiveness, support and love.

How it all started:

A Reboot Trauma Recovery Course graduate, Mark Franzi, and his wife were walking around Surfers Paradise and witnessed first hand the plight of a number of homeless people ostracised by the world around them. They decided to act: The first mission happened that day with three volunteers, six meals were provided to people in need, and 10 homeless people were engaged in conversation. This simple act of kindness sparked a new sense of purpose in our members and a new mission was born.

1. Provide opportunity for our graduates and their families to continue to serve – Healing through helping others.

2. Serving a community of people in need – Loving one another through personal interaction and support.

3. Linking the Gold Coast homeless community with a network of health and care providers.

Standard missions include 3 teams deploying weekly to provide much needed basic necessities and face to face interaction to the homeless community around the Gold Coast.
